Excellent food and superior service. Generous portion sizes. The Guacamole and Birria Quesadillas are fantastic. Perfect location for grabbing a meal before hitting Power and Light, Bartle Hall, KC Symphony, or Union Station. Street parking can be tricky but there’s an adjacent lot next to the restaurant with ample parking. When the restaurant is busy there isn’t much inside space to wait for your table so bring a coat if it’s cold outside.

We are very lucky to work just blocks away from this great locally owned and operated Mexican Restaurant and Cantina. They are open for lunch, dinner, and in between. Our staff love the vegetarian options as well as the Birria Tacos and Quesadillas. Prices are reasonable and you can't beat the warm atmosphere and convenient location.

Pork Chimmi. Big juicy chunks of pork. I might suggest a crispier wrap. Awesome Guacamole and Pico de gallo! A thumbs . The knife makes for a good visual upon serving.

I love this place! I have been going here ever since I was a little girl. It is one of those Mexican restaurants that most people don’t know about. Located in downtown and has a great view of Kauffman Center. There is not a lot of parking in the front. Food 5/5! Service 5/5! Food is delicious and watch out for the Volcanic Margs hahaha, they’re deadly.

I tried them for dinner and the chicken fajitas were delicious. The happy hour margarita was great as well. Service was decent, had to flag them down a few times but it got better as they slowed down so no big deal. Ambiance is great. Above all, the food was on point and I would recommend them.

Amazing Mexican place! The staff were super fun and helpful. Lots of great options on the menu. They were extremely accommodating for our 8 person party and the atmosphere inside was warm. I needed my phone charged and they were able to plug it in for me (even snuck a selfie in lol). Definitely want to come back again and will be recommending this place to my friends!

After enthusiastic recommendations from friends, we tried Los Tules. Our server, Rochelle, was friendly and knowledgeable. Her recommendations were spot on—I loved the Chili Verde. My wife’s Shrimp Chile Relleno was also fantastic. The arbol-based salsa was had lots of personality without affecting tastebuds. The guacamole was among the best we’ve ever had at a restaurant. We will be returning!
